Product Review - Finishing Touch Hair Removal
This is a product review for the Finishing Touch Hair Remover that can be found in the As Seen On TV section in many stores and can also be found online as well.
I have been using this product for about 6 months and I must say that for the price I paid for it, I sure got more than what I paid for it.
I bought mine at Walgreen for about nine dollars, which wasn't too much so if I didn't like it or if it didn't work then I didn't have to worry that I spent too much money on it. I tried it out that night on some stray hairs that had decided to spring up on my legs and I've been using it ever since.
I don't know if it is just me but I get those pesky hairs that seem to pop up overnight on my chin and sometimes above my lip. Now before I started using this product I would take a tweezer and painfully pluck the hairs out one by one. Can we all say ow? I mean it was really painful, especially since I have very sensitive skin so needless to say I didn't forward to it but it had to be done.
But since I started using the Finishing Touch it has become so much less of a chore and more of a treatment to me. And I don't just use it on my chin and upper lip, I just it for my eyebrows and for any stray hair that starts to grow after I shave.
So I highly recommend this product for anyone who might be interested in it. The product itself does not take up much room at all so it is easy to travel with and it is very light-weight. It also comes with a light, this helps to make those fine hairs more visible to you. It also comes with two comb attachments that can be used on the eyebrows in order to get them to the desired length. The blade is very safe to touch and the battery seems to last forever, or at least mine does and I use mine about once to twice a week. The battery that this product takes is 1 AAA, which don't cost much at all.

Review for Specialty VoxBox from Influenster
Okay so as promised, this is my review of the products that I received free from Influenster in a Specialty VoxBox. Again, I am not paid for my opinions on any of these products and my reviews are of my own opinion of the products.
EBOOST Review
Okay, I'll be the first to admit I am not a fan of the taste at all and I love Pomegranate flavored drinks. But this, ugh, the taste was the one thing I couldn't get around. It took me nearly two hours to drink the whole thing cause I do not like wasting things at all. Even though I did not care too much for the taste, the product still lived up to its name so I would purchase this product, but perhaps a different flavor.
Garden Botanika Lash Primer
Let me be honest, I haven't ever been big on the whole make-up thing and I have only just gotten back into wearing it. This is because as I was growing up I had a lot of skin issues, where no matter what kind of make-up products I wore/tried, my skin would just break out. Luckily as I got older, my skin seemed to calm down a bit (Olay Fresh Effects is helping too :) ). Now, I knew that there was mascara, concealer and such products like that but I have never heard of lash primer; so I was pretty excited to try this product out. And I am so glad that I did. This product is awesome! Since I live in the South, heat is a factor which leads to sweating, which sometimes leads to runny make-up which is not fun nor pretty. Especially when its mascara. This product, which is to be put on your lashes before you place on your mascara, helps pervent this from happening. Not only does it keep your mascara on longer but it also extends your lashes, at least it does mine. I have also had to stop my sister from stealing this as well cause she has tried it and loved it as well. So I will be purchasing this product again in the future, well me and my sister both will!
Tropical Necco Wafers Review
Okay, I have already reviewed these in a previous VoxBox from Influenster, I think the College one. But I will happily review these again. I absolutely love these little wafers, the tropical are my favorite! These are a perfect snack, especially if you are working on a paper for school or if you are traveling. This product is easy to carry and costs less than two dollars which is so great. I have already purchased this product a few times now, as well as a few times before I received it in this VoxBox and I know that I will be purchasing it again and again. :) If you want more of what I think of this product, then please go back through my previous posts on this blog.
imPRESS Press-On Manicure Review
As with the Tropical Necco Wafers, I have already reviewed this product so I do urge you to go back through and read my previous review on this product as my opinion on this product is pretty much the same. I do love the product, I am not a fan of pink nor do I think it flatters my skin tone as I have very pale skin and too much bright pink seems to wash me out. Don't ask me how that is possibly, for me to live in the South and be as pale as I am but I am. But while I am not a fan of pink, I do like the product itself so I urge you to go back through this blog and find my previous review of this product.
Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion/Sunscreen Review
Okay, this product is AMAZING! I know that the line has been around for a while but I have never thought to try it. This product does not feel like a sunscreen nor does it have that sunscreen smell at all. It smells, and feels like, tropical lotion which makes me love this product even more. Since I live in the South, I am outside a lot during the summer going to the Coast, walking around, etc. This product not only protects from the sun but it also keeps your skin smooth and hydrated which is very important in the summer. I have already purchased this product again in both travel and full size form, as I will be taking a trip to New Orleans in the next couple of months and I want to take it with me. It is not as expensive as some other sunscreens that are out there and it is well worth the price of it. And I will be purchasing this product again and again for a long time.
NYC Show Time Glitter Eyeliner Pencil Review
I have already reviewed this product in a previous post on this blog, so if any of you want to check it out feel free. I do like this product but I do not like the glitter that is in it. This is because I have a very high sensitivity to glitter. It makes my skin itch and irritates my eyes. But I thought that I would give this product another chance...needless to say this product went to my sister after the first use. Like I said, I have no problem with using NYC brand and this product does have great qualities but for me I won't be purchasing it again due to the glitter. But I have purchased another glitter-less NYC Eyeliner and I love how it looks and stays on. And I will be repurchasing that eyeliner as well in the future, just not the glitter one. But my sister has told me her thoughts about the Show Time Glitter and she loves it! She doesn't have the problem with glitter that I do...lucky!
Softsoap Coconut Scrub Soap Bar Review
Okay, I love coconut scents, I love body scrubs and I love to be clean. This product was perfect for me. Yep I say perfect because I have already used it all up. Yep you heard right, its all gone and I am sad cause I haven't been able to find it in any of my stores because they are always sold out. But I will not give up! A warning though about this soap, the tiny scrubs in it can be a bit harsh feeling on your skin so I wouldn't use this every time you take a shower but rather once every couple of showers so as to not irritate your skin too bad. But other than that, the soap scrub is wonderful and the smell lasts for a long time which is awesome!
Well that's my review on the products that I received in my Specialty VoxBox from Influenster. Again I say, that I received these products free from Influenster and I am not being paid for my opinion.
I also wanted to ask my readers their opinion on something. I have been seeing many of these monthly subscription boxes and I must admit that my curiosity is peeked. What I wanted to ask is do any of you get, or have gotten, any of these monthly subscription boxes? If so which ones and how well did you like them? I ask because I have been toying with the idea of getting a few of them and posting reviews on this blog for the products as well as doing box openings on my YouTube channel. If any of you readers are interested in seeing something like that, please comment below!
Until next time, bye!
