Review for Paula's Choice RESIST Products

Okay so I have been reviewing the Paula's Choice RESIST Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System and the
Paula's Choice RESIST Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum for a few days now and I feel that now is the time for me to write my review about them.

Okay first up is the Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System. Now while I do love the results that it has given me, I do not like how oily it makes my face; both when I am wearing it and even when I have washed it off. But if the oily formula that they use were to change, or if they come out with an oil-free version of this; then yes I would purchase it again cause the results were awesome and overall I did love this product.

Next is the Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum, which if any of you are familiar with Paula's Choice products this is the light version of their Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. Now I have never tried either of these so I was excited to give this a try. I am very happy with the results as it has made the skin around my eyes glow a bit more and look more healthy in general. However, once again my skin just seems to hate new products because every time that I put it on; I would get a slight burning sensation wherever I placed it for about 10 minutes and then it would go away. It didn't burn my skin and I didn't break out but it was a slight discomfort.

As such I have decided to pass along both of these deluxe samples to my mom as she has given them a trial run and she has had none of the effects that I had with oily skin or with a slight burning sensation so I am happy to pass these along to her for her to use. She loves skin stuff so I know I will make her day when I give them to her.

Next Product Review:
Redken Curvaceous Trial Kit (This product review should be posted within the next couple of days)

Again if anyone has any products that they would like for me to review or think I might like then please feel free to leave a comment below!

Until Next Time!

Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System Update

Hi!
So I just started using the Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System tonight but instead of just using this one product on its own I have decided to pair it with another Paula's Choice Product, the Paula's Choice RESIST Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. Both samples of these products I received free from TotalBeauty.com and they are in no way paying me or endorsing me for my opinion. I do try out all of the products that I review for about a week in order so I can see the full effect of the product.
The reason why I decided to pair these two products together is that while the Resist Intensive works well on the neck and face, the Concentrate Serum says that it works best around the eyes so that is how I am using each of these products. I am going to use the Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol on my face and neck; while I am going to use the Antioxidant Concentrate Serum just around my eyes.
Since each of these products are a 3-week trial, I feel that instead of doing a review at the end of the three weeks; I am going to post a review after the end of the first week to see if I like the product or not. And if I like how the product is working with my skin and the results that it is supplying then I will do another week of review and so on and so forth. So expect a first week's review on this product by the end of this week!

Until Then!

Update on the Murad Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightning Serum Review

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to continue to use this product and review it. The reason being is that it seems to be very strong to my skin cause I have broken out badly in the areas in which I used it for the past few days. I thought that it was just my skin reacting to a new product but now that it hasn't gotten any better at all, I am going to have to stop using this product. This does not mean that Murad is a bad product, it just means that my skin doesn't agree with it. So don't let this deter you from trying it out for yourself. But I still do highly recommend that you try out a sample of this product as the full size product runs about $60 to $70 and that is a lot of money to invest in a product that you might not be able to use.
I am going to give my skin a few days of rest before I start testing out the next product which is the, Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System. I will start this review on Sunday and I am very anxious to see what results it will have as I have never tried anything from this brand.

Until Next Time!

L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Perfector Serum Concentrate Impression & Review

Image belongs to L'Oreal Paris
This is the first of a series of products that I am going to be trying out over the next month or so. I received a five-day sample of L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Perfector Serum Concentrate through a Facebook Page and I thought that I would do a first impressions and review of this product as I have not tried it before. So over the past five days, I have tried this product and I have recorded my experience with it. I hope my review helps anyone and I do apologize ahead of time if my review seems to run together at times as I am not used to doing an extensive review of a product but I am looking forward to my second product review coming up next week.

How I applied the Serum:
I applied this serum after I washed my face with warm water and a facial wash to help open my pores more. I applied it in dabs all over my face, focusing on my nose, forehead, the outer corners of my eyes and under my eyes; after those areas were taken care of I dabbed it on the rest of my face including my neck. I started with my neck first by rubbing it in using an upward motion and when that was completed I moved on to the rest of my face. I started at my nose and began rubbing it in using an outward/upward movement in order to really work it in. I did the same with my forehead, only using outward moving circles to work the product in. I performed this same action of applying this product throughout the whole five days that I tried this product out.

Results after Day One:
I must admit that I was shocked by the results after using this product after just one
day. I put it on in the morning and was surprised to discover that it was still on my
face when I washed my face that night. Now I will admit that when I washed my face,
it felt slightly oily but that was due to the product that was still on my face. After I had
washed my face thoroughly, I looked at the pores on my nose as they are the main ones
that I have problems with and to my surprise I noticed that the pores themselves
seemed smaller and less noticeable. I went to bed excited to see what tomorrow's use of
this product would be.

Day Two Results:
Since I did the same application of the product as on day one, I will skip that part for
the next four days and just put up my results.
The results of the second day held more happy results than day one did. Not only were
my pores less noticeable all day but the outer corners of my eyes seem tighter and
brighter and my skin tone has begun to even itself out which made me more than
happy to see this occurring. I cannot wait to see what results will occur on the third day
cause I am really loving this product right now.

Day Three Results:
The results of day three are a bit different than the previous two days. I noticed that I
had a small breakout on my forehead but then again I attribute that to my skin being as
sensitive as it is. I am hoping that the redness will go away by tomorrow. Other than
that I have noticed that my pores on my nose are indeed less noticeable than they were
at the beginning of this week as well as my skin tone is more even toned as well.

Day Four Results:
The results of day four have yielded the results that I wished for. The redness that was
on my forehead at the end of the third day has indeed vanished as it was just my skin
reacting to this new product. I have noticed that the skin around my eyes are even
more tighter as well as the skin around my neck and cheeks. I am very pleased with
this result as well as to the fact that my pores are even more smaller than before. And
also I have noticed that my skin feels more smoother and is less dry than previously.

Day Five Results:
The results of day five has yielded the same results as the previous day. My pores are
now smaller and less noticable than they were when I first began using this product.
My skin is now more of a healthy even tone to it that I am more than pleased with. My
skin it tighter/toner around my out eyes which has also made me very happy.

In conclusion of this review, I would purchase this product for not only myself but for
that of friends and family. I do suggest that if anyone can get a hold of these samples
that they try them out and see for themselves. I feel that it is important to try out
samples of products before you purchase the full-size product as you never know how
your skin will react to it; so I urge anyone who would like to try this product to try out
a sample first. I came about my sample through a Facebook page, Freeflys. They post
daily on free samples, coupons, sweepstakes and such. I have gotten so many good
samples through this Facebook page as well as suggested to many friends and family
that they should give it a try.

The next review I am going to be doing is the Murad Rapid Age Spot & Pigment
Lightning Serum and I think with this one that instead of keeping daily notes on the
results I see, I will just do a main review at the end of the week as this sample will last
seven days. So expect the review of the Murad Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightning
Serum to come next Saturday.

As always if anyone has any suggestions of products that they would like me to try, or
if you would like to share your experiences with any products then feel free to leave a
comment below!

Until Later!

Three New Product Reviews Coming!

So I've been getting free samples for about a month or so now and I've been lucky to score some really great samples of some high end, or what I like to call, high end products. So I thought that since I have nothing to gain or lose from reviewing these samples that I would give my honest opinion on these three products that I am going to be trying out over the next month or so. I would just like it to be known that I am neither paid nor sponsored by any of these companies to review them and that my opinion of these products are that of my own.

The first product that I will be trying out is the L'Oreal Paris Youth Code Perfector Serum Concentrate. This product is suppose to refinished your skin's texture, tighten your pores and minimize lines. Now as I am still in my 20s, I don't really feel that I have a lot of aging lines as of yet but it is never to early to start with the prevention of such. And since I do tend to have issues with my pores, especially during the winter months I thought that I would give this product a try. The sample that I received of this product is for a 5 day supply, so starting tomorrow morning which would be Monday Nov. 4; I will be using this product every day for the next five days. I will write down my experience with this product and then post a blog combining all of the results that I viewed as well as more information about the product itself such as where it can be found and the cost.

The second product that I will be trying out is the Murad Rapid Age Spot & Pigment Lightning Serum. This product is what I consider a pretty high end product as Murad products tend to run a bit high so I am very glad that I am able to try out this product as I wouldn't have the opportunity to do so otherwise. This product is suppose to even out your skin tone and to reduce the appearance of age spots. Now as stated above I am in my 20s so I haven't really noticed any aging spots that defined but I do know that some my pigment is a bit uneven so I am hoping that this product can help with that. The sample I received is 0.07 fl oz, and from what I can see the product itself will last about a week. So I will be trying out this product for 7 days starting the week after I have finished with the L'Oreal product. And as with the L'Oreal product, I shall keep notes on my experience with the product as well as information about the product itself.

The third and final product that I will be reviewing is the Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol System. This product is suppose to repair wrinkles and sun-damage, build skin-firming collagen, and reduce dark spots. Now even though I am in my 20s, I have noticed that around my eyes I am starting to get very tiny wrinkles and I wish to stop these before they get too out of hand. So I am very excited to try this new product and to see the results. The sample size that I received is for a 3-Week Trial so this will be the longest product review. And as with the others I do plan on keeping daily notes about this product that includes my experience and results of it. However, instead of just posting one post about this product, I will be posting one at the end of each of the three weeks. My final post at the end of the three weeks will include information about the product and a final review.

I am looking forward to testing out these new products and I hope that my readers are excited as well. As stated above, I am not being paid to influence my reviews on any of these products as I received these products for free in the mail; so I don't have connection with any of these companies so I want it to be known that my thoughts are my own and that they are my honest reviews. So keep on the lookout!

Until Next Time!
