Review on Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

Okay, I will be the first to admit that my hair despises hair spray of any kind of nature. I mean seriously! Its like my hair has a vendetta against all hair spray. Well it did until this hair spray. Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray has finally tamed my hair it seems. This product took my frizzy, unruly curly hair and seemed to tame it to a more managable mane. My hair is naturally thick, curly and frizzy so I admit that I had my doubts before testing out this product. But now that I have, I do like the results.

The spray itself, smells so good compared to others that I have smelled. This one actually has a scent of the beach, and it lingers as well. I've had it in my hair for about two hours now and it smells just as good now as when I first put it in. It really does make you feel like you've been at the beach all day, I love it! It doesn't have that chemical smell at all, which is a plus for me since products that have heavily scented chemicals tend to give me quite a headache. But this spray hasn't even give me the inkling of one, which makes me loves Not Your Mother's products even more. I honestly cannot wait to try out more hair products from this company. Perhaps something that could help me control my frizz, with the summer coming up.

Review for Olay Fresh Effects {Va-Va-Vivid!}

This product is now permanently on my morning routine.
This product is simply amazing! I can barely describe in words how great this product worked for my face. I have used this product only twice with the {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser and I am pleased to say that I am very very satisfied with the results. I am so satisfied with them that I went straight out and purchased a full size of the cleanser. Olay has really outdone themselves with these products and for such a reasonable price as well.

The cleanser made my face smooth and shine free just after the first use! I was so happy as my skin is very sensitive and oily, therefore it is a bit picky on the products that I use on it. I am happy to say that there has been no bad side effects, only great ones. As I said my skin does not only feel smooth and look shine free but it feels so much cleaner than with a regular facial wash. I use mine in the mornings as soon as I get up, which not only wakes me up but also removes all of the oil that has built up over the night.

I will be purchasing this again and again as I have completely fallen in love with this product. Good job, Olay! You now have a repeat customer for years to come. :)

Skinnygirl On-The-Go Bars Review

I have found a new daily treat. I have never tried these bars before even though that I had seen them on numerous occasions; and now that I have finally tried it all I can think is one thing. Why did I try these sooner?!?

These bars are delicious and are just the right size for a perfect snack or a quick meal if you don't have time to sit down for a regular breakfast.

The flavor that I had was the Coco-Nut with Peanut Butter. Now I will be the first to admit that I am not a huge fan of coconut flavored items but the combination of the coconut and peanut butter flavor was very appeasing to my senses. The coconut flavor does not override the peanut butter flavor or visa verse. Instead, they compliment each other and really wows your taste buds.

Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response Review

I am very familiar with the Secret brand of Deodorant as I am sure most people are. I am also familiar with the Clinical Strength Deodorant as it is the only deodorant that I will use.

Well, only one I would use.

I tried out the Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response out this morning and I can say that I am very happy with the results. I live in the south, so it does get very hot and humid here so having a good deodorant is very important. This one, I know will be able to last throughout the day in the southern heat. I only had to apply it once today, and despite the stressful day that I have had, it is still working!

And the smell...Oh it smells so good. That even after I had finished getting ready I had to smell it again. It doesn't have an overpowering scent but rather one that is subtle and clean. It is a scent that has stayed with me all day without fading, which just makes me so happy cause I hate it when I have on deodorant and I have to apply it more than one time a day. But with this one I have only had to apply it once and the scent of citrus has lasted all day.

I am proud to say that I be purchasing this product again and again and again in the future. And I do suggest that others try this product as well. It really does work.

I just wanted to just post a quick blog about the products that I received for winning a few of the College VoxBox Brand Challenges. I still have a couple of products that I am waiting to come in but as soon as I do, I will post pictures of them.

The first two products that I received from Broadway imPRESS Nails were these two:

This is the imPRESS Kiss Nail Dress. The style that I received was the Strip style and they were in the pattern Camisole. I can't wait to try out this product as I have always wanted to try them and I simple love the pattern of these.

This is the imPRESS Color Kit. The pattern that I got this time was the Ecstatic Cling, which is a bright pink. I can say with all honesty that while I would like to try these nails again, any kind of pink just doesn't suit me. So I will most likely end of giving these to my sister, who looks awesome in pink. But all in all, I do love this product.

The final product I have received so far is the NYC Sun N' Bronze Bronzing Powder. The color that I have is 706 Hamptons Radiance.
Now I will be the first to admit that I have not worn makeup in many years. This is mostly because I just didn't feel like it was not only worth the trouble but also the fact that I did not know what colors/tones would best suit me.
But I have decided to go back to wearing makeup once again and I have to say that it is all thanks to this product. This product is just so beautiful that I can't wait to put it on and try it out.


As I said, I do have two more products that are on their way to me and once I have received them, I shall be posting them either to another blog, or editing this one to add them as well.

I'm getting another VoxBox!

Another VoxBox heading my way! :)

I am so happy to say that I am getting another VoxBox! I cannot wait to get it. The name of this VoxBox is the Sweetheart VoxBox and I should be receiving it within the next few weeks. I have also yet to receive my brand challenge winner products but as soon as I do, I will be posting those as well along with my reviews of the products.
