Pure Ice Nail Polish Review - Influenster JingleVoxBox

Color: Home Run

Hello everyone and welcome to another product review! Today I will be reviewing Pure Ice Nail Polish that I received in my JingleVoxBox from Influenster.

The first thing I noticed about this nail polish was that it lacked the chemical smell that I have encountered with several other brands of nail polish. I have a very sensitive nose and suffer from migraines when I encounter harsh chemical smells, so I was very thankful that this nail polish lacked this scent. So that only makes me want to check out this line more and see if I can find any other colors that I like to add to my collection.

The next thing that I noticed was that the nail polish was thinner than other brands that I have tried before. Now some people might not like this but personally I love a nail polish that allows me to build on the pigment of the nail polish color. I like the fact that if I want this color on my nails but I only want a light coating that I only have to lightly paint my nails once or twice. It's also nice to know that I can build the pigment to a sheen that I like.

I also like the simplicity of the design of the bottle itself. It's not fancy or anything of the sort, which is perfect for me because I do enjoy the simple side of life and I do tend to lean towards products that cater to this. I don't need a fancy looking nail polish bottle in order for me to love a nail polish color. Not that I don't enjoy fancy nail polishes by any means but as I said I do prefer the sleek and simple look that this product line offers.

The price is also one of the things that I appreciate about this product. Not only it is on the cheaper side, less than $2.00 per bottle, which just makes it more affordable but it can also be found at any Wal-Mart in a variety of colors that cater to all tastes.

Well that's it for this review, simple and to the point. I do recommend this nail polish brand for those who want a good nail polish but don't want to spend a good deal of money.

Until Next Time!

Ore-Ida Totchos Recipe & Review - Influenster JingleVoxBox

Hello! I just wanted to hope on here and share the recipe that I used for my Ore-Ida Totchos! I didn't find mine on the Kraft Website so I hope that it is a bit original but if not that's fine too. The recipe was delicious! I encourage others to try it out for themselves!

Note: I am going to be combining my review of this product & the recipe that I used this product in. First will be the recipe and then followed by the review!

Chicken and Tater Tot Waffles
Prep: 25 Minutes
Total: 1 Hour
Serves: 8

Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 pounds of Chicken Tenders; halved if large
- 2 Cups Buttermilk
- 2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce
- Vegetable Oil, for brushing and deep frying
- 2 Pounds (about 6 cups) frozen Tater Tots, thawed
- 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 Teaspoons Paprika
- Kosher Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Granulated Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Honey

Instructions:
1. Combine the chicken, buttermilk and 1 tablespoon hot sauce in a large bowl; stir to submerge the chicken. Let marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat the oven to 250F. Preheat a waffle iron (not Belgian) and lightly brush with vegetable oil. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Working in batches, fill the waffle iron with a single layer of Tater Tots (they should be touching). Close the waffle iron and cook until browned and crisp, 6 to 8 minutes, depending on your waffle iron. (The waffles are done when they release easily without sticking) Transfer to the prepared baking sheet and place in the oven to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining Tater Tots.

4. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large wide pot until a deep-fry thermometer registers 360F. Toss the flour, paprika, 2 teaspoons salt and the granulated garlic in a large bowl. Remove the chicken from the buttermilk mixture using tongs; reserve the buttermilk mixture and dredge again in the flour. Fry until the chicken is crisp and golden, 4 to 5 minutes. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain; season with salt.

5. Combine the honey, the remaining 1 tablespoon hot sauce and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave until just warm. Serve the chicken and waffles with the spicy honey.

Enjoy!

Note: I also shared this recipe on my Food Blog but I didn't specifically say that I used the Ore-Ida Tater Tots! Also for those who are interested I will be linking not only my Food Blog, where I post random recipes that I have found/tried but also the Kraft Ore-Ida Recipe Page! These recipes all look so yummy!

Review Time!

I can't really say a whole lot about this product except that I did enjoy not only the crisp taste of the tater tots but also how they weren't nearly as greasy as other brands that I have tried. The packaging, while simple in looks, does manage to catch one's eye which is always a good thing. It is very reasonably priced and you get enough to last quite a few meals unless you are making a huge recipe like what is above. I not only recommend this for a family of several but also to someone who is living on their own. Despite the fact that they are tater tots, they are very flexible when it comes to their uses in recipes. And like I said, they aren't that expensive at all. I thank Influenster for the opportunity to try out this delicious product that I have happily added to my freezer for many meals that are yet to come.

Product Review: Hallmark itty bittys from Influenster Jingle VoxBox

Hi guys! And welcome to another product review and I must say that this has to be the cutest product review that I have done in a long time.

I received the pictured product in my Influenster Jingle VoxBox and for those that don't know this, the product up for review today is called an itty bitty that can only be found at Hallmark. And the character I received was Rapunzel and she looks as pictured, only cuter.

Now I will admit that I pride myself on being a Geek and there are certain things that I do collect, figurines, plushies and pop vinyls to name just a few. And now I know for a fact that I will start collecting itty bittys because they are just too cute not to collect. They can only be found at Hallmark and the company comes out with different ones every year and from what I have seen on their website that I will be a frequent shopper there.

They are called itty bittys for a reason as they are very small and easily fit into ones hand without any problem but they are just so intricately detailed for something so small and cute. They are also so very soft as they are made of the softest fabric that I have ever felt a plushie be made out of. Oh and for those that don't know, when I say plushies I am referring to the fact that it is a stuffed toy; I know that there are some people that don't know what plushies refers to and I don't want to confuse anyone.

Another thing that is just so cute about these little plushies is that they stand up on their own, as there is small beads in the bottom of them that keeps them upright which to me just makes them that much more collectible.

They not only have Disney itty bittys but they have recently added Star Wars one in order to celebrate the new Star Wars movie, which I must admit I want to collect them all as the Yoda one is just so cute and hug-able!

Well there really isn't much more I can say about these cute itty bittys other than I do encourage everyone to go and check them out for yourself and while you might not like all of them, I'm sure that there is one itty bitty that is out there for everyone to enjoy!

As with my other reviews, I will link Hallmark's Social Media accounts below, along with their website that will be a direct link to their itty bitty section. Now they're itty bittys do cost a little over $6 but they do come in sets and in larger sizes and those range a bit more.

Until Next Time!

Product Review: Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream from Influenster Jingle VoxBox

Hi guys and welcome to another product review!

Today I'm going to be reviewing Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream that I received in my Jingle VoxBox from Influenster.

The product size that I received was one ounce/28 grams; now I know that this doesn't seem like a lot as I first thought so but I was pleasantly surprised. I have seen this product be talked about many times by Beauty Gurus on YouTube but I never really got around to trying it for myself. I am glad that I waited however as now I got to try it for free thanks to Influenster.

My first impression of the cream was that it was thick but strangely had no scent. That however didn't bother me at all as I do prefer my face products to have little to no scent as my skin tends to break out if something has too much perfume in it. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by how the product didn't seem to have a scent to it but that it was extremely gentle on my sensitive skin.

Since I live in the South, we don't really have severe winter weather such as snow and whatnot; however it can get really cold here and the cold weather is not a friend to my skin. My skin becomes very dry and itchy during the winter months and into early spring so keeping it well moisturized is always a plus for me. The thing of it with finding a moisturizer for me is that I don't want one that leaves my face feeling even more drier than at the beginning nor do I want a moisturizer that makes my face look and feel greasy/oily.

This however didn't seem to be a problem with this product as it not only left my face feeling smooth and looking healthier, it also didn't leave behind a greasy/oily mess that I would feel for hours after I applied the product.

Now I know that I have said this on a previous product review, the exact one escapes me at this time but this product really does go a long way so be careful that you don't waste any of it. Apply a little to your fingers at first and apply it to your main problem areas first; then if you discover you need more then you get a little more. I do this myself because I have wasted product in the past when I used too much of the product as I did not know that such a little amount would be sufficient for me to use.

I loved testing out this product so much and I am glad that I was given the opportunity to test it out thanks to Influenster! Stay tuned for other product reviews to come! Oh, and I will be linking Cetaphil's Social Media accounts for those that are interested in checking them out for themselves!

Until Next Time!

Product Review: Biscoff Cookies from Influenster Jingle VoxBox

My Biscoff Morning

Hello Everyone! And welcome to the first of several reviews for my Influenster Jingle VoxBox that I received from them. This is the first of several to come so be on the lookout.

The first product that I wanted to review are the Biscoff Cookies. The cost of these cookies is $2.00 for a 250g pack; which isn't bad at all considering the high quality of these cookies.

And so let us begin the review!

I received not one pack but three packs of the Biscoff Cookies; each pack containing 2 cookies so I was able to test out this product for a few days which was fantastic. I love being able to try a product out more than one time so that I can get a real for the product itself, so thanks Influenster for that!

The first thing that I noticed about the cookies was their texture. While coming across as crumbly in the beginning, I loved the snap that they had when I first bit into them. They were hard but not too hard that I felt like I was going to chip a tooth; which is a huge plus to me because I don't like cookies that are too hard but I also don't like cookies that are too soft, so for me Biscoff really knows their way around a cookie.

Now I enjoyed my cookies for three days by having them in the morning with my morning cup of coffee. And in my honest opinion, I cannot believe that I haven't had these before with my coffee; as I found myself questioning my decision of coffee cookies as soon as I had taken my first bite!

The cookies themselves are sweet but not overly sweet, which in my opinion makes them a great cookie to have with a cup of hot coffee, chocolate and even tea. Now I've only personally tried it with coffee but I am planning on the next time I am able to pick these up to try them with hot tea and even hot chocolate. But like I said, while the biscuit was sweet it wasn't overly sweet when compared to other products that make cookies like this. It was quite refreshing to say the least and I was very happy that I was able to try these cookies.

And even though the cookies were crumbly, I can completely overlook it for the taste and how they just seemed to hug my taste-buds!

Also another thing that I personally noticed was that, even though they look like a very dry cookie; that it doesn't leave your mouth feeling dry at all! I was so surprised at this because I am use to having cookies with my coffee that seem to just absorb all of the moisture in my mouth, so it was very refreshing when I was enjoying Biscoff Cookies with my morning coffee that my mouth didn't get dry at all. So kudos to you Biscoff for making cookies this delicious.

I do highly recommend that these cookies are tried at least once by everyone! They really are quite delicious and I feel that everyone must experience their taste at least once. For those interested I will be leaving all of Biscoff Cookies Social Media Accounts at the end of this post, in case anyone wants to check them out for themselves!

Until Next Time!
