Aussie Mega Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner Review

This is a shampoo and conditioner set that I decided to try because it was on sale and I had a coupon for it. I am always on the lookout for products that I haven't tried and if it works out that I can either find them on sale or get a coupon for them, it's all the better.

I found these on a shopping trip to Dollar General and thought why not try them. It was the beginning of summer and my hair gets super dry due all the humidity that we have where I live. And I don't really want my hair to look dry and damage, so I thought I would give it a shot.

I wasn't disappointed with it at all. After just one wash, I noticed that hair looked more moisturized and lively without looking frizzy at all. That's a big deal for me since my hair is not only naturally thick and curly but at the slightest bit of humidity in the air, it frizzes up to the max and it is a complete pain.

Most people can pull off the frizzy hair look; I am not one of them at all. So when I find a product that can ease the frizz, I will hoard it like a dragon guarding gold. So if you're looking for a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, I highly recommend this one.

Gillette Treo Razor Review

First let me apologize for not updating this blog in several months...almost a year I think. I have no excuse only that life kinda blind-sided me but now everything is going great. So keep an eye out for several reviews over the next couple of weeks as I have several that I need to catch up on.

Gillette Treo
Today's review is going to be for the Gillette Treo Razor. This razor was released last year and I was one of the lucky few that were able to get their hands on it to try it out. The reason being is that for those that do not know, I am a caregiver. I have been the main caregiver for my grandfather and my mentally handicapped uncle for the last 10 years or more. So I am always looking for something that not only makes every day tasks easier for them but for me as well.

This razor caught my attention cause it was created in order to make shaving easier and for me that was something that I was very interested in trying. My grandfather is 84 so shaving himself has become quite the task over the last few years as not only his eyesight becoming worse but his balance as well; so he cannot stand up for long periods of time. The same cannot be said for my uncle, who is just not able to shave himself without cutting himself in one way or another. So I am the one that shaves them and I try my hardest to make it easy on them. For my uncle, it's not difficult for me cause I have been shaving him the longest but with my grandfather, I know that I have to be a extra careful due to him being older and the fact that he is a diabetic; so a cut for him could mean something worse.

When I first tried out the Treo, I was surprised by how tiny it seemed. This little thing was suppose to
Before Shaving
shave a grown man's beard? I couldn't believe it. And it wasn't suppose to cut them, which was something that other razors have claimed to prevent over the years. But after trying out the Treo after the first time, I was amazed. The shaving cream that is contained in the handle of the razor works to help stiffen the beard hair in order to make shaving easier. It is gentle on the skin and has a pleasant scent to it which all of us enjoyed. The blade itself was an interesting design to say the least. The razor itself was designed to glide back and forth over the skin, like one would do with a paint brush on a canvas. It is this design that makes it easier for not only caregivers to use but for elderly to use themselves. Cause they are not removing the blade every few seconds to clean it but rather gliding it back and forth over their skin.

After only ONE pass! Amazing!
The shaving cream, well actually gel, not only helps stiffen the hair but it also leaves the skin feeling super smooth. It it definitely a product that I would go out of my way to purchase again and again because it truly does work the way that it claims. And I'm not sure if it's luck or something else, but neither my grandfather nor my uncle have suffered any cuts from this razor since I began using them since the middle of last year; whereas when I used other razors, no matter how careful I was they always ended up with either razor burn (grandfather) or tiny cuts due to their thick beards (uncle).

I highly recommend this razor to anyone who knows an elderly person that needs something better to help them shave with or if you, yourself, are a caregiver. This will make shaving much less stressful; despite it being such a menial task or something that many people wouldn't stress over. But unless you are a caregiver, or you personally know a caregiver then one cannot understand how much it helps to just make something seem so menial easier. It does take wonders of stress off that's for sure, and I once again Gillette for sending me the Gillette Treo to try. And I have recommended it to not only other caregivers that I know of but even nurses and home health nurses who have seen the razor in our bathroom or in our personal things when we are out and about. I am more than happy to make someone's else life a bit easier! :-)

Until Next Time!

Disclaimer: I was not paid for my review for the Gillette Treo. I received it free and was asked to give my honest opinion of it.

Product Review - Quest Cereal Protein Bars

Recently I tried some new protein bars that were based on cereal flavors. I have tried Quest bars before and there are some that I like and some that I do not much care for. So I thought I would give two of the flavors a try to see if I liked them. Well I liked one of them and the other one I did not care for in the least.

The first one that I tried was the Cinnamon Roll flavored one. Surprisingly this was the one that I didn't care for. For something that has cinnamon in it, it really was pretty tasteless; which surprised me to say the least. It was good and it was a good start to my day when I was in a rush out of the door and didn't have time to make me some breakfast. However I don't think that I will be getting this flavor anytime soon. Maybe if they change the recipe or perhaps add more cinnamon to it because it really doesn't taste like anything. At least to me, which I am aware that not everyone is going to have the same taste-buds as me. I would compare this flavor to that of a rice cake if I am honest, it had a little flavor but not the burst of flavor that I have come to expect from a product that contains cinnamon.

The second flavor that I tried was Waffle. Now this was the one that I expected that I wouldn't like cause I'm just not a fan of waffles. But I was surprised to say the least when I found that I liked the taste of it. Unlike the cinnamon flavored one, this one was bursting with a buttery flavor as well as that of syrup. It was very tasty and pleasing to eat. It went very well as a replacement bar for breakfast and it kept me full a bit longer than the cinnamon one. I can't help but wonder if it had anything to do with the taste being more pleasant to eat then the cinnamon one.

So between the two of them, I'd chose the Waffle flavored one. I know that there are a few other flavors available and I want to try them to see if I will like them. Cause I know that I'm going to get bored with eating the same flavor over and over again. But that's okay. Also sorry for the short review but there really isn't much else that I can say about this product.

Until Next Time!

Tasty Voxbox Review - Yogi Tea

Hello!

Today I am going to be reviewing the two different flavors of Yogi Tea that I received in my Tasty Voxbox from Influenster. The two flavors that I received were Cinnamon Berry Probiotic Balance and Green Tea Kombucha.

The first tea that I am going to review is the Cinnamon Berry Probiotic Balance. This tea has a blend of intriguing ingredients that all combine for a great probiotic in order to help out your digestive system. Some of these ingredients include: Hawthorn Berry, Coriander, Cumin and warming Chai Spices. Also please note that if you want to know what the other ingredients are for this tea or for any of Yogi Teas, you can always visit their website as they list every ingredient for each of their teas. I'm not a fan of cinnamon teas at all but I wanted to give it a try because I did receive this sample a few days before Thanksgiving and everyone knows how we tend to overeat on that day so I thought it would be nice to treat my digestive tract and show it some well-deserved love. Now I wouldn't buy this tea myself, at least not in this flavor because the cinnamon to me was right in your face. However, my sister tried this tea and said that the cinnamon was subtle tasting to her so I'm pretty sure it's just me. It did help ease tension in my tummy after the large meal that I had that day so I am very happy with that. Now if I can find this tea in another flavor or perhaps find something that I can mix with it so that the cinnamon is not so strong to me; then I would totally buy it again.

When I tried the Green Tea Kombucha, I didn't want to put it down. I love anything and everything that deals with Green Tea and I knew that I would love this tea without a shadow of a doubt. And I did not disappoint myself. This tea combines the delicious blend of both Green Tea with Kombucha in to provide antioxidants that support overall health. This tea also contains Spearmint, Lemongrass, Plum and Passion Fruit flavors in order to harmonize this tea to have a more light fruity flavor. This tea was so soothing and sweet that I didn't even have to any extra sweetener to it or anything, which made it even more better because I wasn't putting anything extra in my body. I can't wait to add this tea to my growing collection of Yogi Tea!

Well that's it for this review so...

Until Next Time!

Suave Essentials Body Wash Review

Today's product that I am going to review is the Suave Essentials Body Wash in the scent Ocean Breeze.

Now I have used these produces for years and I will continue to use them because I do like these products. Not only are these products very affordable (around $1.25 @ my local store) but they do compare to other body washes that tend to be a bit more costly.

Now this body wash does take a bit more than other body washes would normally take but it could be because I like a big lather whenever I use it. But even then, one bottle will last me a pretty good bit; about 2 weeks or so. It really does depend because I do switch body washes because I tend to get tired of the same scent day after day. This scent that I recently tried, Ocean Breeze, is said to be comparable to the Bath and Body Works Body Wash in Juniper Breeze. This however, I don't think is fully true. While it does remind me of this scent, the scent from Bath and Body Works has a more stronger scent; and lingers on the skin more than this Suave one.

That's one thing that I don't like about this "cheaper" body wash and I use the word cheaper not in a bad way at all. But I do wish that scent lingered on the skin a bit longer than it does though but for the price that you pay for it, you do get a really great body wash. Especially when I can find it at Dollar Tree so I can save a bit more money on it.

Highly recommend body wash! Definitely one of my favorite body washes and as I stated it really is super affordable!

Until Next Time!

Curel Hydratherapy Wet Skin Moisturizer Review

Now I was expecting the same result that I got with the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer but Curel just didn't do it for me. Not that the results weren't good, they were but I just preferred the Jergens Wet Skin to the Curel one.

I just felt like it left residue on my skin and it kinda broke me out in random spots on my arms and legs. I feel that Curel would be good on older, tougher skin so I passed it along to my mom and she loved it. It worked so well with her and she sings it's praises. So I was happy that it worked for her and didn't give her a bad reaction to it.

This doesn't mean that Curel is a bad brand, not at all! It just means that everyone is different and their skin need different types of care. Where it broke me out, it healed her skin and gave it much needed moisture.

So this review is going to be pretty short, but please keep in mind that you can try out this product for yourself to see if it works for you; it just wasn't right for me at all which saddens me cause I was so happy to try it.

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Intensely Smooth Leave-In Conditioning Cream Review

If you have thick, curly hair that is known to be very frizzy, even after straightening then if you're not familiar with this product; then I highly recommend it!

My hair is not only thick, curly but it's super long and it really does have a mind of it's own. Even when I straighten it, it still becomes frizzy and out of control in just a few hours. I hate that! And I know that I'm not the only one that hates it. It can be so annoying, especially in humid weather; which is very common where I live. I'm so glad that I was given this product as a gift and I was able to try it out. I couldn't believe that I have finally found something that actually works to not only tame my frizz but didn't leave my hair looking greasy and feel weighed down.

Now I don't put it all over my hair because it's really only the last 2 inches of my hair are my main issues with becoming frizzy and unmanageable. So I put maybe a little less than a nickel size worth and it keeps my ends from frizzing all day! I still couldn't believe it even after seeing the result on my own and I have never been so happy to have this product in my hair product collections.

One thing that I have noticed since using this product is that even when I don't use it for a few days after washing my hair, my ends aren't as frizzy as they usually get before I tried out this product. I can't help but wonder if even after washing my hair that it is still helping my hair stay sleek and manageable. Either way, I'm not going to question the results because I don't want them to go away.

I do highly recommend this product along with the other products in the Sleek and Shine line from Garnier Fructis. And once again apologizes for the short review but longer ones are coming soon! Thank you for being patient.

Until Next Time!

Garnier SkinActive Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer Review

Once again I find myself reviewing a product that has a pretty long name and once again I find myself not minding in the least. When I first tried this product, I admit that I was not a fan of it at all; I felt that instead of being moisturizing that it felt greasy on my skin. I didn't like the way it felt on my skin at all so I didn't use it for a good week. But I decided to try and give it another go since I had already spent the money on it and I wasn't about to let that money go to waste.

So I tried it again and for some reason the second time I used it, I loved it! I don't know if my skin was just having an off day when I first tried or something else. But like I said, after I tried it for the second time I was hooked on this product. It went on smoothly, it didn't feel greasy on my skin at all and it worked miracles for the dry skin that seems to plague me; especially on the sides of my nose, the sides of my cheek and in my eyebrows. I was surprised that this product helped that dry skin so much in all honesty because I have tried several other products before but none seem to have had the result that SkinActive seemed to have. Granted it took about a week of daily use but I immediately noticed the difference. The redness that I was plagued with as well as the dry skin was pretty much gone. So I find myself using this moisturizer daily and becoming more and more hooked on it after every day.

I really shouldn't have doubted this product because Garnier has to be one of my favorite companies that product several of my all-time favorite products that I use consistently in my daily routines, etc. I do highly recommend all of their products and I urge everyone to go out and try this product for themselves to see if they like it.

Again I apologize for the short review but there are personal matters that I have to have most of my attention if not all of it on at the moment. I thank you for understanding and bid your patience a bit longer.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen Review

Today I am going to be reviewing the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen, that is a mouthful but the product is well worth the long name for sure.

Now usually I absolutely hate the smell of sunscreen, can't stand it so I sometimes find myself not happy at all whenever I have to apply it. But with this however, I find myself actually looking forward to putting it on because it just smells so much like coconut and just what you would expect a beach to smell like on a hot summer day. It's also not greasy as compared to other sunscreens that I have tried and a little does indeed go pretty far. The fact that it's weightless, not greasy, has a pleasant scent to it and is SPF 30 makes this sunscreen my all-time favorite one to use.

And just because it's not summer, doesn't mean that you shouldn't be using sunscreen. I know where I live, the sun has been out so much these past two weeks that I've been making sure that I always have my sunscreen on. Granted I do this daily anyway, no matter what the season because I love my skin and I want to keep it healthy and to protect it.

I do suggest that you always wear sunscreen though, cause you can never be too careful and this is one that I highly recommend because when you put it on; it really just feels like you are putting on lotion. And who doesn't like putting on lotion?

Well there's not much else to say about this product and I do apologize for it being so short but as of right now my family is going through some personal things and I find myself stretched for time to do the things that I really enjoy doing. So the next few reviews might be short but please bear with me and hopefully the personal things will work themselves out one way or another.

Until Next Time!

Dove Go Fresh Body Wash Cucumber & Green Tea Review

This is hands-down one of my all-time favorite body washes. Now it is a bit costly when you purchase it individually or at least it is for me at the stores that carry it near me. So whenever I purchase this, I buy it in a big 3 pack so I know that I won't have to purchase it as often and for me that can last me a couple months if not a bit longer; so I end up saving a bit of money which is always nice.

The scent is so fresh and clean smelling that I usually use this body wash in the spring and summer because the scent just seems to fit those seasons the best. But I still will use it throughout the year however because as I said it really is one my favorite body washes to use.

The formula is perfect for my sensitive skin and it doesn't break me out which is always nice. I seriously hate the fact that my skin can be so sensitive to products because there are several products that I want to be able to try but I really don't want to push my luck with them. But with this body wash, I don't have that reaction and my skin not only feels soft but moisturized. However I have started to notice recently that my skin will dry out if I strictly use this product for a couple weeks straight. So in order to give my skin a break, I will usually use a different brand of body wash for a few days and the dryness clears right up.

Now I know that this is how my skin personally reacts to certain products and that it doesn't reflect on the product itself so I don't want to deter anyone who has been looking to try this product out. I do suggest that if you want to try out this product then try the travel size first in order to see if your skin has any reaction. But it is for sensitive skin however some people have more sensitive skin than others.

Until Next Time!

Suave Professionals Moisturizing Almond & Shea Butter Shampoo & Conditioner Review

This has got to be one of my top favorite shampoo and conditioner sets to use on my wild hair that is so hard to tame.

It really does a good job in not only smoothing it out but also keeping the moisture locked in so it doesn't look dead and dried out. Now I say that it is one of my top favorites but it's really not my all time favorite which is Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine but I'm not here to review that as I'm pretty sure that I have already reviewed it.

But I really do like Suave Professionals as well; so while it's not a top favorite it is in my top 5 shampoo/conditioner favorites. I do find that the moisture doesn't stay locked in for as long as I like and after a few hours after washing I can already tell that it isn't as moisturized as it should be. But it really doesn't make me angry or disappointed however. This is because sometimes when my hair looks too moisturized it looks greasy and that just isn't a good look on anyone.

All in all I say that this is a great shampoo and conditioner. It is very inexpensive as I think I paid less than $7 for both bottles together so that's really not too expensive when compared to other products that do simliar things but cost at least 5x more. Which doesn't make sense to me for paying that much for a product but I've never tried any of those products so perhaps I am missing out on something that others see that I don't.

Until Next Time!

Graze Box Subscription Review

Hello all and welcome to another product review. In this review, I'm going to be reviewing Graze which is a monthly subscription box that gives you 4 to 8 snacks a month and costs $11.99. I contacted Graze a few weeks ago and asked if I could try out their box in exchange for a review and I'm so excited that they agreed whole-heartily. I was expecting just 4 snacks but to my extreme happiness they sent me 8 different snacks and I cannot wait to give my review on each of them because they all look so good and different than anything I ever tried before.

I simply love the look of the box. It is very simple but also high quality. The snacks were packaged very well within and didn't seem to have moved at all during transit, which is very nice. Each snack is packaged in a way that is easy for them to be carried in a lunch bag or a purse for easy on-the-go snacking. Which for someone who is trying to look for healthier snacks, I do appreciate the convenience and portion size of each of the these snacks. I also like the fact that in the box comes a piece of paper that includes all the nutrition facts of each of the snacks that come in the box. The nutrition facts also include a complete list of ingredients for each snack, which is great for anyone that has any type of food allergy or want to avoid a certain ingredient.

Garden of England
This snack is made up of mini strawberries, soft apple pieces and blackcurrants. It is really the perfect fruit snack in my opinion. The apples are sweet but not overly so while the strawberries and blackcurrants are a bit more sour but they blend together perfectly as you snack on them. This would be an excellent and filling snack to have with you when you're going out to the beach or evening going on a hike or a nice walk in the woods. Who am I kidding this snack is perfect for anytime that you're craving fruit.

Booster Seeds
This snack is a mixture of three different kinds of seeds: pumpkin, sunflower and flax-seed. Now I will say that I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any salt on these seeds but that again is my personal preference. And to be honest, I've never tried pumpkin seeds before but I'm glad that I was able to try them. I will say that I did add just a bit of salt to these seeds but once again they were good without the salt; it is just that I like having a bit of seasoning to my seeds when I snack on them. I am still happy and glad that I tried these because I would have never found out that I really do like pumpkin seeds.

Smart Blondie
This is a little soft snack bar that is whole grain and is made with cinnamon and raisins. Now I've never been a fan of raisins but I do eat them from time to time and this was one of those times that I simply devoured this little snack bar. It was honestly the most perfectly mixed snack bar that I have tried in such a long time. It was filling and the balance of cinnamon and raisins was simply fantastic. It wasn't too much but it wasn't too little. It also tasted so fresh, like it had been just made the very day that I ate it. I continue to be impressed by the quality of snacks that Graze supplies in their boxes.

Graze Popping Corn
Okay, can we please address the absolute adorableness that is this popcorn? It comes in such a tiny little bag that is perfect for taking with you to the office or anywhere that you have access to a microwave. A word of caution for this, please read the instructions because it is such a small bag of popcorn that it will burn easily if left in the microwave too long. The popcorn itself is seasoned with salt perfectly and doesn't need any extra, at least for me. I would compare it to Skinny Pop only a little bit less sweet which I do like. It was also a very filling snack as with other snacks in this box.

Thai Sweet Chili Bites
Sweet Chili Sauce with Baked Soy Bites
This little snack contains 8 Soy Bites and a tangy sweet chili sauce. The Sauce is spicy but not overly so, so it is very enjoyable even for someone that doesn't eat spicy food much or at all. The soy bites are lightly glazed and are delicious on their on but when dipped in the chili sauce, they are just simply an amazing combination. The bites are crispy in the way a very puffy baked chip is and they are so good on their on that I wouldn't mind just having a big bag of these just to snack on throughout the day. It gives a very very slight burn, just enough to tantalize ones' taste-buds and leaves you not wanting to wait for the next bite. And this little snack pack is only 80 calories! So good! My ultimate favorite out of this entire box! I have got to get my hands on this snack asap because I need it in my life.

Peanut Butter & Jelly
This little snack is made up of salted peanuts, raspberry strings and small cubes of vanilla fudge. Now I'm going to be honest here, the little raspberry strings freaked out a bit with their texture but I absolutely loved the taste. And when you eat one of each component that make up this little snack, it really does taste like you're eating peanut butter & jelly. The raspberry taste is very strong though so be warned if you're not really a fan of raspberry. But to be honest, even though I'm not a big fan of raspberries, I absolutely loved the taste of it. Definitely one of the oddest snacks but it has got to be one of my favorites as well!

Chocolate Pretzel
This pretzel snack contains 9 lightly salted pretzel sticks with cocoa & hazelnut dip to the side that goes really well with the pretzel sticks. The pretzel sticks are perfect for me because while they are crunchy, they're not rock hard so that it would hurt your teeth when you bite down on them. The pretzel sticks themselves aren't thin either but are pretty thick which is a nice change from the thin ones that can be found nearly everywhere. Another thing that I like about this packaging is that, on the cocoa & hazelnut dip it clearly says that it contains nuts now so this is a great thing considering how many people today have nut allergies. And just like with the other snacks it says how many calories the snack holds, which is 140 calories; which is pretty good considering how delicious this snack is, it is hard to imagine that it doesn't have more calories. Definitely one of my favorite snacks in this box.

Pumpkin Spice Flapjack
This snack comes with three sections of pretty good size so it is already a descent sized snack to begin with. This snack is basically a mix of rustic rolled oat flapjack with pumpkin spice. Now I have to be one of the few people on this Earth that is not completely obsessed with pumpkin spice. I've never really had a taste for it at all so I admit that I had my doubts when I first saw this snack, however I was pleasantly surprised at the taste. Other food/drink products that I've tried were just so over seasoned with the pumpkin spice that I found that it would quickly burn out my taste-buds. However, this was not the case at all with this snack. I found it very good, it had just enough pumpkin spice that you could taste it and enjoy the taste of the warm spice but not enough where you couldn't taste anything else. The bars themselves were pretty thick and so chewy! Definitely a snack I would bring with me for perhaps an after workout snack or even something to snack on in the afternoons instead of that bag of chips or candy bar.

But what I really found very interesting about this box was that each snack was so filling! When I mean filling is that I wasn't hungry for several hours after eating just one of these snacks. This is why I could only bring myself to eat one of the snacks daily; granted the other part was that I didn't want the experience to end but mostly it was because I was so full from eating just one snack that I felt I would end up wasting another snack if I were to try it.

This is by far one of my most favorite reviews that I have done. It was such a variety of snacks of all different flavors and textures. Graze has got to be one of my favorite food boxes out there today. And I want you to be able to try it too! So if you're interested in trying Graze, they have an awesome deal where you can get your first and fifth box for free by using the code LIZM1D4DB and just thank me (Shannon) and you can get your first and fifth box for free! Also you can cancel anytime you like!

Thanks again to Graze for sending me a box to review! I really did enjoy the snacks!

Well that's it for this review! Keep an eye out for another review of a different subscription box. Here's a hint, if you love Japanese snacks then you'll want to know more about this box!

Until Next Time!

Disclaimer: I was not paid for my review. Yes I was sent this box for free but my thoughts and views on these snacks are of my own opinion. The pictures were also taken by me.

Sincere Apology!

Hello all!

I must beg your forgiveness for not posting any reviews in what seems like months, which is probably is. Life has happened over the past couple of months and boy did it happen big.
First off my father ended up in the hospital with liver failure, bad alcoholic if I am to be honest with everyone. And then my hometown was completely flooded for about a week; if you've watched the news then you'll know of the extensive rain Mississippi got in March so there was that. Luckily however, my home is built higher than any flood stage that has occurred in our area so while our neighbors had water in their homes, we only lost a washer and dryer. Which I am sincerely thankful that that was all we lost, well that and two vehicles but it could have been much worse so I am thankful for it not being more damage.
But about a week before the flood and my father being in the hospital, I took my laptop in for an overheating issue. Sadly there was nothing they could do with my laptop so I had to get a new one.
Now that brings us to April, I was unable to get a new laptop until April due to several issues but now I am happy to say that I have had one for about two weeks and I never realized how much I had missed it.

Now that I have my new laptop I can begin to review products again and I am so excited! I have several products that are coming to me from several websites and also several that I need to review before they get here! So it's safe to say that in the upcoming weeks I am going to be very busy with reviews, pictures and opinions on this blog and I cannot be happier! I want to try and build this blog up as much as I can in order to give honest reviews for those that read it.

Once again I ask your forgiveness for not being able to post in a while and I ask your patience for a little while longer while I get situated once again as my life goes back to its normal state.

Thanks!
Until Next Time!

Product Review: Hallmark itty bittys from Influenster Jingle VoxBox

Hi guys! And welcome to another product review and I must say that this has to be the cutest product review that I have done in a long time.

I received the pictured product in my Influenster Jingle VoxBox and for those that don't know this, the product up for review today is called an itty bitty that can only be found at Hallmark. And the character I received was Rapunzel and she looks as pictured, only cuter.

Now I will admit that I pride myself on being a Geek and there are certain things that I do collect, figurines, plushies and pop vinyls to name just a few. And now I know for a fact that I will start collecting itty bittys because they are just too cute not to collect. They can only be found at Hallmark and the company comes out with different ones every year and from what I have seen on their website that I will be a frequent shopper there.

They are called itty bittys for a reason as they are very small and easily fit into ones hand without any problem but they are just so intricately detailed for something so small and cute. They are also so very soft as they are made of the softest fabric that I have ever felt a plushie be made out of. Oh and for those that don't know, when I say plushies I am referring to the fact that it is a stuffed toy; I know that there are some people that don't know what plushies refers to and I don't want to confuse anyone.

Another thing that is just so cute about these little plushies is that they stand up on their own, as there is small beads in the bottom of them that keeps them upright which to me just makes them that much more collectible.

They not only have Disney itty bittys but they have recently added Star Wars one in order to celebrate the new Star Wars movie, which I must admit I want to collect them all as the Yoda one is just so cute and hug-able!

Well there really isn't much more I can say about these cute itty bittys other than I do encourage everyone to go and check them out for yourself and while you might not like all of them, I'm sure that there is one itty bitty that is out there for everyone to enjoy!

As with my other reviews, I will link Hallmark's Social Media accounts below, along with their website that will be a direct link to their itty bitty section. Now they're itty bittys do cost a little over $6 but they do come in sets and in larger sizes and those range a bit more.

Until Next Time!

Review - Etsy Shop: Sweet Bean Plans

I have never reviewed an Etsy shop before but when I came across this little shop, I just couldn't help myself. I love everything about this shop and I wanted to share it with others.

The name of the shop is Sweet Bean Plans and the shop specializes in original planner stickers that are just so Kawaii (cute) and adorable for words to even describe them. They are based in the US but they ship internationally and if you don't see a sticker design that you personally would like then the shop also does custom orders, which is just awesome.

Anyway I discovered this shop about a month ago when I decided to start getting into decorating my planner as I had watched a few videos of others doing so on YouTube. So I decide to browse Etsy until I came across this new store that hadn't been on the site very long, so I decided to see if I could help them out. As I looked through what the shop offered, I found myself wanting everything! Every sticker was just so cute and felt so personally made that I couldn't decide on which ones to get. But after looking for about an hour, no joke here folks, I literally spent an hour trying to decide on planner stickers lol; I finally narrowed my choices down to seven; which I will list below along with the quantity and the price of the stickers.

1. Tiny Water Bottles/Workout Stickers - 100+ Stickers for $3.50
2. Pencil and Paper Kawaii Stickers - 80 Stickers for $3.00
3. Tiny Colorful Kawaii Cell Phone Stickers - 80 Stickers for $3.00
4. Colorful Dog Paws Stickers - 72 Stickers for $3.00
5. Reading/Book Dots Stickers - 78 Stickers for $3.00
6. Colorful Yoga/Stretching Exercise Stickers - 60+ Stickers for $3.50
7. Tiny Kawaii Scales/Weight Loss Stickers - 54 Stickers for $3.50
**The names of the stickers are how they are listed on the shop as well as the quantities and the prices.

Out of all the shops that I browsed through, this is one store that caught my complete attention and I cannot wait to order more from her.

The pricing is perfect for the quantity that you get and the quality of the stickers are amazing. I found out that every sticker is designed by her completely as she draws them out by hand. I absolutely find that amazing for someone to be able to design to many cute things. And here is the best part, her store is always updating! Everyday it seems like she adds more stickers to her shop, which makes me even more excited knowing that holidays are going to be arriving soon, which means holiday themed stickers for Halloween and Christmas. I can't wait to see what she creates.

I also have to commend the shop on how fast they ship orders out as well as how cutely they are packaged. When my first order arrived, it was only a few days after I had placed my order which impressed me for sure. I was also awed at how cutely the stickers were packaged inside the shipping envelope. She had placed them in a colorful bag and closed it with a tiny amount of Washi tape to keep it closed. Not only did I get my order but I also received a couple of sample stickers as well which only made me want to go back and buy more.

I can tell that she really loves what she does and now that I follow her on Instagram, I get to have sneak-peeks of any upcoming stickers as well as notice of any sales that she has going on. And her sales, they are amazing. Her most recent one, which is going on until the end of this week 8/29/2015 I believe, is 25% off of $20! I can't believe what good sales she has and I can't wait to get in on them myself. But I am waiting until I request from custom designs from her, which she does take for the price of $3.50 I do believe.

Now I want to go ahead and place a disclaimer here before I end this review. I do not know the owner personally at all, nor am I getting paid to do this review. I just wanted to be able to help her business grow because I feel that she deserves it as I can see her hard work through her stickers and shop. She doesn't even know that I'm doing this review and won't know until I post this on my social media; so I hope she doesn't mind but I just can't keep the greatness of this shop to myself. I want this shop to be successful for her so that she can keep doing what she obviously loves. And yes before anyone asks, I purchased all the stickers that I listed above with my own money, except for the two sample stickers that she sent; which I believe she does with every order but I am not sure. I will also be making another purchase from this shop so I will be doing another review on how much I like the custom stickers, which I already know I will if any of her other designs have to say for her talent.

Also for those interested here is the link to her Etsy shop as well as her Instagram name. I urge everyone to check her out!

Nasoya Pasta Zero Noodles Review - Influenste Blossom VoxBox

This is a product that was interesting to begin with as I have never heard of this brand before receiving it in my Influenster Blossom VoxBox. But I am always up to trying something new and expanding my palette so I was more than willing to give it a try.

Now the noodles did come with a recipe but I decided that I wanted to try out a recipe that I make all the time with egg noodles. The recipe that was included in the noodles can be found on the Nasoya Website along with many other recipes. I will link the website down below as well as the recipe that I used in order to make my noodle dish.

The first thing about these noodles that I noticed was that the package came with liquid inside of it, soaking the noodles. So per the instructions, I opened the package and rinsed off the noodles with water. When I opened the package I noticed that the noodles had a very earthy smell, now usually that would not be appealing to me at all but for some reason it seemed to work with these noodles. Also I will be adding pictures at the end of this post to show the noodles and the base ingredients that I used in the sauce.

Now I'm not going to say that I feel in love with the taste immediately because that is not the case. I can't really describe the taste like I want to but I can already tell that it will not be everyone's favorite. Not to say that its bad, because its not at all but that everyone has particular taste when it comes to noodles and I feel that these noodles would be an acquired taste. And I will be honest, it took me a few bites before I found the taste to be tasty rather than over earthy. Because even with the sauce and the other ingredients, it still had an earthy taste to it that did take some getting used to.

However I do like the taste and can't wait to try out more recipes with these noodles and to try out more products by Nasoya really soon.

Well that's it for this review and I will be linking Nasoya's Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Website below so feel free to check them out.

Recipe that I used. I simply replaced the noodles with Nasoya Pasta Zero Noodles: Easy Lo Mein Recipe
More Nasoya Recipes can be found on their website linked above. Check them out and try them for yourself!

Until Next Time!

**I was sent this product free for review and testing. I am not being paid for my review

This picture includes the Pasta Zero Noodles as well as the base of the sauce that was used in my dish.

This picture is what the noodles looked like after I mixed it with the sauce base but before adding the rest of my ingredients. I forgot to take a picture after adding the rest of the ingredients.

Live Bear Naked Granola Review - Influenster BlossomVoxBox 2015

Now I've never been one to like granola. Truth be told I stayed away from the stuff as much as I could. Now that is not to way that I haven't ever tried it, I have but nothing of what I tasted left an impression on me.

However, when I tried Live Bear Naked Granola I was pleasantly surprised. The flavors that I received in my Influenster Blossom VoxBox were Sea Salt Caramel Apple and Coconut Almond Curry. Now I'm not a fan of Coconut so I admit that I had my doubts when I saw the second flavor. But I made myself a promise the first of the year that I would be more open to try new things. So tried them I did and I must admit that I have never rushed out of my door fast enough in order to find these delicious granola snacks.

My favorite flavor between the two has got to be the Sea Salt Caramel Apple but I'm not totally put off the Coconut Almond Curry flavor either, its just too sweet for me to have a lot of it. But I did run out and get two bags, one of each flavor that I had tried and they have now become a staple in my cabinets.

When I'm craving something sweet and savory, I get out my Coconut Almond Curry and put it into a small bowl with a couple of spoonfuls of Yoplait Vanilla Yogurt and that just pleases my taste buds to no end. And when I want something that is still savory but a bit more tart, I just reach for a handful of the Sea Salt Caramel Almond. I must admit that I love getting a little baggy of the Sea Salt when I'm about to go out for a walk and I munch on that a little before I start my walk and when I'm finishing. I find that this granola flavor works better with water than the other.

I am glad +Influenster gave me the opportunity to try out this product for free! I can't wait to find more flavors of @LiveBearNaked and try them.

Until next time!

Kawaii Box Review, Jan. 2015 Box

Today I am going to be reviewing one of my new favorite monthly subscription boxes, Kawaii Box.

Now, I am completely in love with the Asian culture, especially Japanese and South Korean. I find both cultures to be colorful and interesting. One of my favorite loves is their music, K-pop/K-rock and J-pop/J-rock. I am also in the process of learning Japanese from a self-taught free website, Memrise. So when I discovered that there was an Asian based monthly subscription box, I was so excited! And this box did not disappoint at all.

For those of you who do not know about Kawaii Box, it is a monthly subscription box that delivers 10 to 12 Kawaii (cute) items that have been handpicked from Japan and South Korean brands. The box costs $18.90 a month with free shipping; with all payments handled completely through PayPal. The brands that are often found in this box are Totoro, Popin' Cookin', My Melody, Hello Kitty and Rilakkuma to name just a few.

Now I'm going to separate what it is in the box into different categories so that I can describe them easier.

Plushies/Keychains
First of all can we just take moment to appreciate the cuteness of these keychains! OMG SO KAWAII!

The biggest plushie/keychain (pictured in the middle) is so soft! Its just so adorable to look at that you can't help but smile seeing the little smile on its face. I'm not exactly sure what it is but if I had to take a guess I would think its a Strawberry Sweet Roll. I cannot wait to put this on my bag!

The second keychain (pictured to the left of the middle) is a squishy keychain. I have always wanted one of these but where I live I have never been able to get my hand on one. I am so happy that I have a squishy now to call my own! And its so cute too! Now the only problem is, is that I cannot decide whether to put it on my keys, bag or phone. Decisions, decisions!

The last keychain is a deco keychain that has a small mirror on the back. To think that someone handmade this is incredible. The details are just fantastic looking, it really does look like a treat you would enjoy with friends. I honestly didn't know if I wanted to eat it or put it on my keys!

Beauty/Accessories
The next items I received were directed at beauty and accessories.

The first product that I received was a pair of Hello Kitty glasses (lens-less). I apologize for not having this product in the picture. When I had first opened my box and saw the glasses I put them on immediately; so when I was taking pictures for this post I completely forgot that I was wearing them. However, I will include a picture that I posted to Instagram of the full box at the end of this blog. The frames are black with a red bow on the left eye frame. The glasses are extremely well made and do not feel or seem cheap at all. Which is just awesome to get such high quality product for such a reasonable price.

The second product that I received is a beaded stretch bracelet. the beads on the bracelet are of a nice large size and are the most beautiful shade of light pastel purple. There are four seashell charms on the bracelet that are gold. Despite the bracelet resembling something a young child or young teen would ear, it is very well made. And even though I am in my mid-twenties, I adore this bracelet and I have no problem sporting this accessory for the world to see. It is a very nice addition to my accessory collection.

The final beauty/accessory product that I received is a small bottle of nail polish from the brand BK. I do now know the official color because there is no other English wording to be found on the bottle. The color speaks for itself however; it is a gorgeous bright blue/green color that I cannot wait to try out the next time I paint my nails. And with the bottle being so small and lightweight, it makes it easier to travel with for touch-ups and such.
Picture of the polish on my nails!
I tried out this polish after typing up this and decided that I had to share it. I simply love the color and I want to try out more colors by this brand!

Stationary
The next group of products that I got were all stationary type products.

The first was a pack of cute ghost stickers. The first sheet has five super puffy and Kawaii ghost stickers, that are just too adorable to even be considered as scary. The second sheet of stickers is a bunch of mini ghosts and bat stickers that are just as cute as the puffy ghosts! These ghosts are just so cute that I simply cannot decide where I want to display them.

The second product that I received was a pen. Since I'm an avid writer, I love collecting pens. And I was so happy that I received such a cute pen in my box! The pen writes in blue and is of a great quality. The little girl on the clip is also too cute for words. The pen also displays a cute quote on the side of it that says, "Hello! My friend dall mate". Now for some this may be annoying as many Japanese products that are translated into English doesn't seem to make sense but this doesn't bother me in the slightest. I find it adorable and a treat to read. Its something that just brightens up my day.

The last stationary product that I received was a vintage stamp set. This set includes one stamp and one ink pad. The design of the stamp is of a little bird sitting on a branch with the words, "Sing a Song" written beneath. The stamp is very well made and is an excellent product to use. The ink pad is also of the same excellent quality and is colored a forest green color. I do a ton of journaling and having this unique set in my collection makes me smile.

The last items that I received were basically misc. products.

The first product being a small coin purse that is coral with white spots. The coin purse has a clasp closing and the material used is a soft material that I cannot identify but I would love to find more products made from this type of material. The coin purse is very well made and is the perfect size to fit into any bag/purse. I'm already using mine as a coin purse in my small bag and its the perfect addition to it.

And last but not least I got a couple of snack products. Both products are Rilakkuma brand snacks. First off the packaging is just adorable! And since the packs are small and light, they are perfect to carry around in your bag for a snack. Each snack bag contains 4-5 Rilakkuma shaped rice cracker snacks. The snacks have been dusted with some seasoning powder. I've never been one to like rice crackers but these are delicious! I only wish that I was able to get more of these snacks where I live cause these would be an excellent snack to carry around during the day, especially a busy day.

Also if you don't want to subscribe to Kawaii Box but you would like to see more of the products that they offer; then you are in luck! They have a Kawaii online store that sells the products that are found in their monthly boxes, so you can just purchase the products that you want and not wait on the box. The site also offers free shipping worldwide! I will link both of the sites below so feel free to check them out!

This was by far one of my favorite monthly boxes to receive that I cannot wait to get another one!

Secret Agent Beauty Lip Affair Lip Gloss Review

I received this product free in a Birchbox a few months back and I have never really tried it out. So with my sister's wedding around the corner I decided to give it a try. And I'm glad that I did.

The lip gloss itself is clear and has a great shine to it when you put it on. It makes you lips just shine and shimmer, which I love. I didn't realize it at the time but it was also a Nourishing and Plumping Lip Gloss. It didn't pump my lips up to be outrageously big but made them look fuller without making them appear overly plump. I loved putting this over my lip gloss as it just added such a wonderful shine to my lips.

The lip gloss is tasteless but once you put it on, it does give your lips a slight tingling sensation that feels cool to your lips. I was shocked at first to feel this but I loved it after a few moments. The lip gloss also kept my lips moisturized throughout the whole wedding, even though we spent time outside in the wind taking pictures; my lips stayed moist throughout the cold wind.

Like I said I got this lip gloss through Birchbox but I did look up information on it if anyone is interested in purchasing it for themselves. The brand of the lip gloss was Secret Agent Beauty Lip Affair, it’s a Nourishing and Plumping Lip Gloss in the color Diamond-Girl Detective which is a clear lips gloss. The size is 0.15 oz and that is full price and costs $18.00.

Until next time!
