Nature Box Body Wash

I forget which site that I got this travel size Nature Box Body Wash from, I have several freebie sites that I am a member of and I do a ton of different offers through Facebook, etc. So trying to remember where I got this from is a rather taxing ordeal. But one thing I do know is that this body wash smells amazing!
Personally, I have never used a cold pressed oil body wash and now I'm asking myself why I haven't. Like most natural body washes, a little goes a long way and I was able to use this travel size for about 5 days before I ran out. And I already miss it!
The scent is so clean and amazing; not overpowering whatsoever. It reminds me of going to the beach and just spending all day there just relaxing. I have noticed that something that is supposed to smell like coconut can have two different scents: coconut or sunscreen. I am not a fan of the scent of sunscreen, so I usually avoid products that are scented in coconut. But this was not the case with this body wash as it seems like Nature Box has managed to figure out a formula that works perfectly with the scent of coconut.
The scent lasted most of the day, which I was pleasantly surprised about but not unhappy with in the least. I was also treated with several comments about how my skin seems to have a beachy glow to it so that has also been a plus for sure.
I'm not sure what other scents that Nature Box makes but just by trying this one, I already have plans on trying out the different ones that they have to offer.

Plant Therapy Essential Oils (Lavender & Lemon)

I'll admit that I wasn't really an advocate for essential oils until a few years ago. Now, I don't understand how I went so long in my life without using them daily. Usually I buy my oils from Amazon, Walmart or Target. However, when given the chance to review these two plant-based essential oils, I couldn't pass it up. And I was not disappointed in the least and I find myself only wanting essential oils from this company from now.
From the day these two oils arrived in the mail, I could smell them through the packaging. It was a strong scent but not overwhelming in the slightest. They both just smelled so pure and natural that I had to use the Lavender one straight away. After putting a few drops in my diffuser, it not only filled my bedroom but most of my house with the calming scent of lavender. And even after a few days had passed, the scent lingered throughout my home; despite me not having used my diffuser since that day that I first used it.
The lemon one smells just as good and reminds me of spring. I have taken to putting a few drops here and there, especially in my kitchen and I am very happy with the results that this has given me. My kitchen smells so clean and springy all the time; which puts me in a great mood for sure.
I am already thinking of different scents that I can get from this company, to see what else that they have to offer. If anyone is interested the company is called Plant Therapy and here is their website: https://www.planttherapy.com And from what I can tell, they do offer more than just essential oils so there will definitely be something there for everyone to try out.

Disclaimer: I was sent these products free for review. I was not paid for my review and this review is my honest thoughts about the product(s).

Product Review - Olay Ultra Moisture Coconut Body Wash

Today I am going to be reviewing the Olay Ultra Moisture Coconut Body Wash. I received this product as a late Christmas present and I have just now gotten around to trying it.

I'll be the first to admit that I am not a huge fan of coconut at all. I don't know what it is about it but the smell to me is less appealing than the taste for one reason or another. So I was a bit iffy about trying this product out because I didn't want to be surrounded by a powerful coconut scent.

However, I was pleasantly surprised that it barely smelled like coconut at all. To me it mostly smells like just a natural clean scent that doesn't overwhelm the senses but also a scent that lingers throughout the day after using it.

I loved how it made my skin feel soft and smooth after just one wash. The back of the bottle said that this would be the effect but like with everything else I didn't really believe what it said; due to previous products promising similar things. But with Olay I should have known better because Olay is one product line that has always delivered their promises time after time.

I also like that it's not overly moisturizing to the point that my skin feels greasy as it tends to be after using other products. Instead, my skin feels soft and smooth. I cannot wait to finish this entire bottle to see the result on my skin. The bottle itself is huge and there is a lot of product in the bottle. And as with any Olay product a little goes a long way so this product will last you a good bit. Speaking for myself, I've been using it for a good two weeks and I've barley reached halfway; and I take a shower daily so that should give an example on how much product there is.

Also since I tend to have sensitive skin, I have to be careful with products I use on it and this body wash isn't harsh at all nor does it break me out so in my opinion it is great for sensitive skin. But please be sure to check out the ingredient list to make sure that it will work well with your skin.

Well that's it for this review!

Suave Essentials Body Wash Review

Today's product that I am going to review is the Suave Essentials Body Wash in the scent Ocean Breeze.

Now I have used these produces for years and I will continue to use them because I do like these products. Not only are these products very affordable (around $1.25 @ my local store) but they do compare to other body washes that tend to be a bit more costly.

Now this body wash does take a bit more than other body washes would normally take but it could be because I like a big lather whenever I use it. But even then, one bottle will last me a pretty good bit; about 2 weeks or so. It really does depend because I do switch body washes because I tend to get tired of the same scent day after day. This scent that I recently tried, Ocean Breeze, is said to be comparable to the Bath and Body Works Body Wash in Juniper Breeze. This however, I don't think is fully true. While it does remind me of this scent, the scent from Bath and Body Works has a more stronger scent; and lingers on the skin more than this Suave one.

That's one thing that I don't like about this "cheaper" body wash and I use the word cheaper not in a bad way at all. But I do wish that scent lingered on the skin a bit longer than it does though but for the price that you pay for it, you do get a really great body wash. Especially when I can find it at Dollar Tree so I can save a bit more money on it.

Highly recommend body wash! Definitely one of my favorite body washes and as I stated it really is super affordable!

Splenda Naturals Review

Today I'm going to be reviewing Splenda Naturals, which is pretty new from Splenda or at least I think so; I'm really not sure. After my review, I will be listing some information about this natural sweetener for those that want to know more about it.

Now over the past year, I have pretty much tried to cut back on all sugar which includes Sweet Tea and sugar in my coffee. So after cutting back I tried doing a few sugar substitutes but none of them had the same affect or taste that sugar seemed to have.

Recently I was giving the opportunity to try out this sweetener thanks to Crowdtap and I was beyond excited to try a new sweetener.

The first thing that stood out was that not only did it not have any calories but it was also naturally sweetened and made with Stevia extract. Another thing that I noticed was how it tasted. It doesn't take artifical at all! It takes like sugar only a little less sweet which I admit is actually nice and pleasant. I have tried it in my coffee several times and I find that I enjoy it's taste more than I do regular sugar which is great! I haven't tried it in anything else but I can't wait to.

Well that's all I can say about this product. Now I'm going to include some information about this sweetener.

Curel Hydratherapy Wet Skin Moisturizer Review

Now I was expecting the same result that I got with the Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer but Curel just didn't do it for me. Not that the results weren't good, they were but I just preferred the Jergens Wet Skin to the Curel one.

I just felt like it left residue on my skin and it kinda broke me out in random spots on my arms and legs. I feel that Curel would be good on older, tougher skin so I passed it along to my mom and she loved it. It worked so well with her and she sings it's praises. So I was happy that it worked for her and didn't give her a bad reaction to it.

This doesn't mean that Curel is a bad brand, not at all! It just means that everyone is different and their skin need different types of care. Where it broke me out, it healed her skin and gave it much needed moisture.

So this review is going to be pretty short, but please keep in mind that you can try out this product for yourself to see if it works for you; it just wasn't right for me at all which saddens me cause I was so happy to try it.

Until Next Time!

Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer Review

I was able to try out this product free thanks to Crowdtap. I have never tried any product like this before so I was really excited to try it. And I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to try it.

If you don't know what this product is, it is a lotion that you put on right in the shower without drying off! You put a dime worth on each arm and a quarter worth on each leg. I usually end up putting some on my stomach and back but it's only a little, I'd say a bit less than a dime worth. And let me say, INSTANT RESULTS! My skin has never felt softer! Like I have never had a product that worked this quickly before. I have always had rough skin on my elbows and no matter what products I use, it simply wouldn't go away. But I kid you not, after only using this product ONCE; I immediately noticed a difference.

It does feel odd when you first apply this moisturizer. The best way I can explain it is that as soon as it comes into contact with your skin, it literally becomes a water-like substance. It is seriously really cool. Another thing that I like about this product is the scent. It smells like coconut and while I'm not a big fan of coconut, it is a very subtle scent of coconut; so I'm not bothered by it at all. Also the scent just clings to your skin, like for hours and hours after you apply. Oh also, when you dry off don't rub, just pat the areas dry that you have applied this moisturizer. That way it absorbs into your body easier and you don't wipe it off.

I've been using this for about a month and I have really noticed a difference in my skin. In the smoothness of it, even the scent of the moisturizer has seemed to become one with my skin because I randomly will get a whiff of coconut throughout the day; which is awesome because everyone likes to smell good. The bottle is pretty big so I know it will last me for a few more months and when it runs out, I'll just run out and buy some more!

Definitely one of my favorite products of 2016. Which speaking of that, I plan on doing a My 2016 Favorite Products blog post near the end of December so keep an eye out for that; because some of the products that are going to be on it will be products that I haven't reviewed yet! :-)

AVEENO Yogurt Body Wash & Yogurt Body Lotion Apricot and Honey Product Review!

AVEENO Yogurt Body Wash Apricot and Honey
Just when I think I have found the perfect body wash, I try a new one and my world opens up again. Now I'm going to be honest, I didn't really expect much from this body wash but I was so wrong. When I first tried it, it wasn't the typical body wash that I have used and when I say that I mean the body wash itself was a bit thicker and more slimier if that makes any sense. So I used a bit more than I would usually do and boy was that a mistake! My loofah was nothing but Apricot and Honey scented foam! I know that I've said a little goes a long way but this statement really needs to be a staple with this product and printed onto the bottle itself. I also wasn't expecting it to be as moisturizing as it was but to my amazement I have never felt such a moisturizing body wash! I don't know what formula AVEENO has found that works like this but they need to keep it up. Just after using this body wash one time, I immediately noticed a difference in the way my skin felt. My skin has never been softer and I absolutely love it! This body wash really makes me feel like I've spent the day at the spa, being pampered and everything. Such an amazing feeling and product! It really makes me want to go out and try more products from AVEENO to see what else this company has to offer.
And the scent is amazing and lingers so sweetly on me, even after a few hours after I took a shower. It isn't a strong scent so if you have a sensitive sense of smell; I feel that this body wash is gonna be perfect for you. It is so subtle but yet you can still smell it. I can't help but wonder how long the scent will linger on me; I can't wait to find out.

AVEENO Body Yogurt Lotion Apricot and Honey
This lotion is just as amazing as the body wash. The formula is perfect, not too thick and not too thin. And the same statement can be said that a little does indeed go a long way because even with just a dab of this lotion covers a pretty large area. I was able to use just a small amount of lotion by dabbing my fingers onto the top of the lotion, and covered an entire arm without having to re-apply more lotion. The formula doesn't break me out and is so gentle on my skin which has been known to breakout from different types of lotions. I applied this lotion right after bathing with the matching body wash and they really are the perfect pair. The lotion just locks in the moisture from the body wash, while also adding it's own into the mix. I love being able to just sit here and get a whiff of Apricot and Honey; I can't wait to see how long this scent will last.

So in review, I love both of these products and I am so thankful that I was able to review these products.

Until next time!

Disclaimer: I received both of these products free for testing purposes from Crowdtap. All of my opinions are of my own words and feelings towards these products.

Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Shampoo & Conditioner Review

I straighten my hair, not as much as I used to and I dye my hair; so repairing my hair is important to me. And if I can do it without so many different products then I'll happily try it at least once.

Like the previous two reviews, I was able to try this shampoo and conditioner through Crowdtap.

Now with everything that I have tried from Garnier, I instantly fall in love with and I will keep using them over and over again. And just like with previous products I can happily add this shampoo/conditioner to the same list.

The smell is just absolutely fantastic, especially to me since I love the smell of honey. I love the way it makes my hair feel and that it will help heal and strengthen my hair after each use.

With the previous shampoos/conditioners from Whole Blends, I will switch them up. Since I have such long and thick hair, I will wash my hair about 3 times a week and each time I will use a different shampoo/conditioner set so my hair gets the full treatment. Granted since Summer is around the corner, I might lean more towards going to the one that helps ease frizzy hair since my hair tends to frizz more during the Summer due to the heat.

Anyway, thanks for reading this review! Until Next Time

Garnier Whole Blends Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter Shampoo & Conditioner Review

This shampoo and conditioner set have quickly become my favorite, especially for the summer. As many of you know I live in the Southern part of the US and when Summer decides to hit us, it hits us hard, hot and humid; not good for anything with thick hair that is prown to frizz in the heat.

I can't even begin to count the numerous shampoos, conditioners, and hair treatments that I have tried over the years to try and get it to tame the mane that is my hair. Now I have found other products that do work on my hair but by far the best products I have found have been made by Garnier and these two products do not disappoint at all.

Now coming from someone that just absolutely hates coconut, I found myself quickly addicted to this scent of this shampoo/conditioner. I was once again happy to note that like all other products that I use by Garnier that a little does go a long way. And this is coming from someone who has very thick, naturally curly and long hair, with my hair reaching almost mid-back.

I love the fact that this combination not only tames the frizz near my scalp but also tames the frizz that is the most prominent in my ends. My ends are the worst to frizz, especially at the roots so it's nice to have more products that can help tame these wild roots of mine.

There isn't much else I can say about this product but I do urge everyone that has problems with frizzy hair to give this a try at least once. I was able to try it through Crowdtap of which I am thankful for because I don't think I would have known about these two products until much later on in the year; possibly after summer, so I'm very glad that I got to try them out before Summer truly hit here.

Thanks for reading this review! Until Next Time!

Product Review: Whole Blends Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk

Hello and welcome to another product review. Today I'm going to be reviewing Whole Blends Coconut Water & Vanilla Milk.

I was able to try out this product through Crowdtap, which is a site that is similar to Influenster but there is more opportunities to try out new products such as makeup, shampoo, conditioner, snacks, etc. I highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in trying out different products.
Anyway I was able to try out both the shampoo and conditioner of this brand along with several other products from the Whole Blends line, which I will be reviewing in my next couple of posts following this one.

I wanted to review this one first as I know that since it is becoming summer time in many places that having dry hair is a big no-no when it comes to summer due to all of us wanting to look out best right? Well this shampoo and conditioner promises to quench and hydrate our hair. And I am very happy to report that it does indeed live up to that promise.

I have to admit that after trying out several different brands of shampoo/conditioner that promise the exact same thing that I didn't have my hopes set too high when I tried out this product for the first. But to my shock and much surprise, after just once washing I could already tell a difference in my hair, especially at my scalp and roots. No longer did they feel dry and rough to the touch but instead now they felt smooth and silky and above all else, hydrated.

Living in the south as I do, it is not uncommon to have dry hair during the summer as the humidity seems to increase; especially during the summer months. Some of us do what we can, trying different homemade methods from the odd to the just plain strange. But I feel with this shampoo and conditioner I can put my mind at ease and focus on more important summer business, such as working on that tan; lol.

There really isn't much else I can say about these two products other than like many Garnier products, a little does indeed go along way so you'll be able to use a bottle of each for a quite some time. And this is coming from someone that has thick, long and very curly hair and just a little works wonders for my hair so I know that it can be done. The smell is also very subtle but one that smells amazing as well. It is the perfect combination of Coconut and Vanilla; which is surprisingly a very nice combination of smells. The scent does linger for a few hours after washing your hair but it is not overpowering at all.

Well that's it for this product review! Keep an eye out for more reviews from Whole Blends!

Until Next Time!
